After a nice visit with Nana and a fun filled Christmas day, the Lennon
clan from North Carolina arrived the day after Christmas--Grammy, Pappy,
and Aunt Colleen. We definitely missed Ryan, but were thrilled to have
everyone else. The days were cold (especially for our North Carolina friends), but we were able to do some site
seeing. The kids adored the 9 straight days of attention between the
two back to back visits and Heath made a new best friend (Aunt Collen). Below is a visit to Fort Williams. To fill our bellies, we went straight to the Cookie Jar after. Awesome place and how can you go to Fort Williams without stopping at the Cookie Jar?
Our attempt at staying in touch. We hope this blog will help keep those of you near and far in the loop on the Lennon adventures.

Visiting Colby
Nothing like a trip to see Colby Women's Soccer play on a crisp fall day and a stop at Big G's for breakfast on the way.
And Colby won too!

Chicago Quick Stop
Our last hurrah of the Summer included a quick 4 day trip to Chicago to celebrate Nana's 70th birthday and check in with some old friends before the official start of the school year. The trip was filled with a birthday trip to The American Girl Store with Lexi, Nana and I, a trip to the Aquarium, and more visits with friends and family. It was quick, but we had a blast. Thank you Chicago! We miss you!
After leaving the Aquarium Finn said, "I wish we could move to Chicago!"
"Really, why?" I said. "Because then I could see dolphins every day!"
A day at the park with a few of our besties.
Lexi with her new American Girl Doll. Nana treated Lexi, Nina (her new doll), and I to a ladies lunch at the store. Lexi loved the treats and especially the endless lemonade.
