Traditions
While we were one shy without Patrick, we continued our tradition to celebrate Easter with Jen, Jess, and Sam. Egg dying, egg hunting, and egg fighting (it's a DuBow tradition) and Easter brunch. Don't forget the annual picture on the front step to compare to the other years.
On their way out to the hunt. Youngest first!

Imagination
I love the innocence that kids have and their ability to play pretend and be whomever they want to be and let the story evolve as they go.
Check out the fairy house they built, including stairs!

Seemed Like the Perfect Day
Another fabulous looking day with Trish and the kids. Lucky that Trish captured the day with pictures so we could live it with them. Fort Popham (I believe) and Dot's for a treat on the way home.
I know you are thinking that you wish you were a kid and that Trish was your nanny. It's ok. I do too!

They Call it a Parade
Well some things aren't as good when they are small and parades, for me, fit that category. Remember, we're still playing catch up here, so play along with me here as I'm actually referring to the St Patrick's Day parade in Portland. We ended up waiting for the parade to start for longer than the actual parade --which was 9 minutes long I think. We had a blast nonetheless and seeing friends in the parade made it that much better.
Check out my studly husband...
