Bowling

On a cold Sunday we decided to go Bowling.  We hadn't bowled as a family since we lived in Chicago, so let's just say everyone thought it was their first time.  We didn't actually get Heath to take off his jacket, let alone his boots to participate, but Finn and Lexi loved the day and I imagine there will be a lot more bowling in our future based on this experience.

Walking on Sunshine

Lexi has absolutely been loving school.  It's amazing that she still jumps up and down when she sees the bus coming every morning.  It's like everyday is the first again and you can see the excitement bursting from her.

Like the school tradition to invite parents to the Halloween parade, the Kindergartners also put on a Valentine's day dance for the parents. Patrick and I were both lucky enough to be there.

Patrick has always called Lexi "sunshine" so it was particularly sweet that this was one of the 4 songs they danced to.

Smiles, Smiles, Smiles

We all survived my trips to Germany, Baltimore, and Vegas.  I have one left to go in this string of travel and then I'm hoping to stay put for a bit.  In the meantime, the fun continues for the kids. They are embracing winter and loving every opportunity they get to sled! They'll even sled down our driveway and in our backyard. When the are not sledding, they want to skate. They are welcoming Winter with open arms.
