Trying Something New

So I was hoping to find a blog where I had more flexibility and so I am trying a new site out.  We'll see how this works out.  If I hate it, I'll probably send you all back here (apologies), but for now, come on over and check out www.3lennons.com. Set your bookmarks and feeds and let me know if you like the new layout or hate it.

Hot! Hot! Hot!

What better way to spend a hot hot day with your three kids when you are running as a single mom?  With you best friends at their back yard "water park" of course. Seriously, a blast for the kids and down time for mom as I snap pics of them having the time of their life.

Mother's Day

ok - so still behind and I likely always will be. I don't know how people blog every day. I really don't.

The perfect mother's day for me, I thought, was to wake up and run a race with my kids. It was a good plan until I injured myself two days before Mother's Day and couldn't run.  But - like a good husband, Patrick knew that a great present would be for him to run the 5K I planned to run for me.  What a trooper! With my mom in tow, we had a beautiful morning, kicked off by a kids race and followed by Patrick finishing the Sea Dogs 5K. It was an awesome way to spend mother's day.  Next time I hope I can actually run too!

Love Thy Neighbor

Part of loving Maine is the fact that we have truly awesome neighbors. We'll definitely miss hanging out at the bus stop, playing with Luna, playing on swing sets, and just hanging out together.  Cheers to the Colonial Pines Association for helping to make our 3 short years in Maine truly amazing ones!

Some photos of some neighborhood gatherings to share.

Mega Stars

Lexi's been taking Hip Hop classes all year with two of her neighborhood friends, Nora and Bella, and we finally got to see them at their end of year performance.  We had a celebratory dinner out with Trish and Kev at Silly's before hand and then headed to the Westbrook middle school for the evening performance. Lexi seems to have little to know fear of performing in front of others and really enjoys being on stage.

Boys bringing Lexi flowers.

Nora hamming it up!

We'll miss these goofballs!
